Sk8ter Pops

Ha, the diet is doing me good already.

I found myself walking behind a couple in the park. They were trim, spry types with neat backpacks and walking boots. My guess is that they were in their seventies. Undeer the woman's arm was a tightly rolled picnic blanket. Under the man's arm, a skateboard. I looked about for a grandchild, but even as we approached the carpark, none appeared. Had this septigenarian Pops been up to the skateboard park to practise his flips? Was he a speed freak? I didn't see him mount his board on our gentle downhill slope, but the park was busy. Perhaps he wasn't allowed.

My belly laughs.
