Normal service is now resumed.
Over the last couple of weeks, I've: visited Cambridge, finished reading Stuart Lee's The Perfect Fool, followed Dave Gorman's blog as he completed his epic bike journey, seen Tim Minchin live, started my OU course, done loads towards the star quilt, and spring cleaned my living room. The leaves have turned red and gold on the trees, and the sun has shone.
I'm not going to write about those things though because today we decided on getting a new dog. If all goes to plan, the Dogs Trust will let us have him next week. Duke is beautiful, smart and funny. He will have a different name when we get him home, but we're arguing over what that should be. Darcy already loves him.
I will try to get back to blogging regularly. Just got miserable, then got better, and in the process lost the habit.
